Hey guys, just to let you know that the mixing and mastering process for Volume Two is well underway and so far things sound very promising. Right now I’m planning the build up for the release and will announce the release date when everything is ready – Neil
All the parts for Volume Two have now been tracked. Joshua Grierson did an awesome job on the 4 songs he sings on. For those keeping track, Volume Two will have 4 songs with vocals and 3 instrumentals that will form a 7 song EP. Now the next step for me is to get them to Ruan Jordaan to be mixed and mastered as soon as possible.
Joshua Grierson after finishing the vocals for 2 tracks today. The vocals for the other 4 songs will be completed in mid February when Joshua is back in Cape Town for the photo shoot of his next album. Until then I will continue working on my parts for Volume Three.
I am teaming up with Joshua Grierson on Vocals for 6 of the 7 songs on “Volume Two”. Today we just went through all the songs and had a discussion about each one and what changes need to be made. We will begin tracking his basic vocal ideas this weekend.
That is what happiness and relief looks like at the same time :) My parts for “Volume Two” are done. Now it’s just the vocals that are left and then the songs are off to Ruan Jordaan to be mixed and mastered.
So far I’ve completed my parts for 6 of 7 songs for Volume Two. There is a chance that Joshua Grierson will perform vocals on some of the songs again depending on his schedule, time will tell. Then the plan is to give the songs to Ruan sometime in January so that he can make the final drum sound and do the mixing and mastering.
