Joshua Grierson after finishing the vocals for 2 tracks today. The vocals for the other 4 songs will be completed in mid February when Joshua is back in Cape Town for the photo shoot of his next album. Until then I will continue working on my parts for Volume Three.

Today I’m going through the list of songs for Volume Two and making changes to the programmed drums where needed.

I am teaming up with Joshua Grierson on Vocals for 6 of the 7 songs on “Volume Two”. Today we just went through all the songs and had a discussion about each one and what changes need to be made. We will begin tracking his basic vocal ideas this weekend.

While there is a break in the schedule before the vocals for Volume Two are recorded I’ve already been working on some new tunes for Volume Three. Since yesterday 2 demos have been recorded, and I am busy working out the parts for a third song as well.

That is what happiness and relief looks like at the same time :) My parts for “Volume Two” are done. Now it’s just the vocals that are left and then the songs are off to Ruan Jordaan to be mixed and mastered.
